By bus
The station located in the town center, has daily departures Bilbao, San Sebastián, La Coruña, Vigo, y Madrid, and changing in Oviedo to Barcelona, Salamanca y Sevilla
You can also take lines to the main towns in the region, Oviedo and Gijón, and also to another villages in the area.

By train
Avilés railway station, next to the bus station , is one of the stops of RENFE´s C-3 suburban train line which takes you to Oviedo where you can connect with many destinations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Salamanca and Sevilla.
There is also another railway company (FEVE) that goes along the whole Cantabric Coast from Irún to Ferrol.
Tthere is a special fee (an only ticket) to travel inside Asturias. More information can be obtained at CTA (Asturias Transport Consortium).
By plane
Asturias Airport is situated at 14 km from Avilés.
There are daily national departures to Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Almería, Lanzarote, Palma de Mallorca, Sevilla, Tenerife y Valencia, and also some international flights to London, Paris and Bruselles and a lot of other European destinations via Palma de Mallorca.
